This game reminds me a lot of the first Castlevania on the NES. Its really dark, its really grimy, and it can be really cheap at times, but theres just something about it lol

Apparently TOKA the french studio that build this clone of Daytona have made this game with only 3 or 4 people, it was a pretty impressive work back then .

I'm not ashamed to admit I was dumb and I just paid attention to "Up Up Up" "Down Down Down" instead of just matching the damn numbers from the left side of the screen to the numbers in the middle.

I love how all the battleships in the game are based off of real models. If you look up diagrams of them, these renditions are surprisingly accurate!

Seeing all the hate on this game genuinely makes me sad. There clearly was passion put into it and it wasnt even meant to be a sonic game. SEGA was contacted and agreed to make it a sonic game. This could have been answerhunt. We could have had it all. Our world is gone. He took everything. I lost them. I lost her. I lost everyone. Im alone. Im scared. This is a cry for help.

As someone who played Starfox 64 but not the original, I'm struck by how many references to the previous game there were that I didn't understand. Both of the Corneria bosses from 64 existed in the previous game, etc.

Ah, yes, the classic NES adaptation of The Terminator where Kyle Reese dies in the demo and futuristic machines programmed to kill their target get punched in the gut to merely off them. You were sorely needed for this one, Sunsoft.

The Lord of the Rings game on PC (by Interplay) is so much better. It’s an actual RPG for starters. And it allows you to explore the entirety of Middle-Earth, something no other LoTR games allows you to do.

For the more technically-minded viewers, Displaced Gamers' look at the game's code reveals why the jumping is such a clusterfeck. Basically, it only bothers looking at the location of *one* pixel in-between Kyle's legs, and if it's not in the absolute right place, you fall right through the platform (to the level below if you're lucky, into a bottomless pit if not). For good measure, there's also a bug that causes the collision detection to occasionally glitch out and make you fall right through the ground to your death.

There's an obvious overdub at 30:07 ('no, not that again') and I vaguely remember the dialogue in that scene (on the mega cd version) being about changing the access code. Is there no access code stuff in the 25th anniversary edition? I'm assuming if that's the case it's because it wasn't a feature of the version that was supposed to be on the NEMO? Also hilariously you can see Jeff and Cousin Tony just standing behind the bookcase trap waiting to come back out at about 30:18. Classic Jeff and Tony. Finally as other people have said there's a couple of scenes missing (e.g. the Sheila ending). Anyone know why they weren't included in the gallery?
